Free deliveries available for those in need in Plano

Lovepacs Plano faces challenges feeding children in need; innovates new ways to serve

Plano ISD closed its campuses the week after spring break due to coronavirus concerns, creating an unprecedented change for Lovepacs.



Lovepacs serves children on the free and reduced lunch program, providing non-perishable foods during extended school breaks, like Thanksgiving, and winter and spring breaks.

Frisco ISD has provided over 43,000 meals to students in need one month into school closures

During the month Frisco ISD schools have been closed, the district has been providing meals to over 9,000 of its students.

Since March 17, the district has provided breakfast and lunch to FISD students who qualify for the free and reduced lunch program.

Richardson ISD has made it a priority to continue feeding students even as spread of the coronavirus has forced the indefinite closure of schools districtwide.
