The Bays Golf Experience and Suites will span 18 acres and will be located near the Professional Golfers’ Association of America headquarters. The luxury resort will feature 24 suites, each with its own private hitting bay, in addition to a 25,000-square-foot putting green and chipping area.
The Bays is also partnering with TaylorMade Golf Company to provide custom club-fitting services at the resort. Fitting experts certified by TaylorMade will be able to craft custom clubs and provide other personalized services, according to the news release.
“TaylorMade is thrilled to build out a new custom fitting center at The Bays in Frisco,” TaylorMade President and CEO David Abeles said in a statement. “We look forward to welcoming players from around the world and helping them improve their game with the most advanced and innovative products TaylorMade offers.”
In addition to the suites and custom fitting center, The Bays will feature four stories of golf-themed entertainment, including an expansive bar with a 100-foot-wide TV.
James Meese, an investor behind the resort, said he and his partners were excited to bring the destination to life in Frisco.
“Imagine being able to watch your own set of TaylorMade custom clubs expertly made right before your eyes,” Meese said in a statement. “With the TaylorMade Bays experience, we are offering world-class hospitality to golf enthusiasts who live and work here, and for those willing to travel for the very best.”
Founding memberships will be offered by invitation only. Members can enjoy tee times at PGA Frisco, a rooftop pool, concierge services and professional golf instruction.
