First responders in Flower Mound will honor those who died in the 9/11 terrorist attacks with a remembrance ceremony Sept. 11 at Town Hall.

The Flower Mound Fire Department and Flower Mound Police Department will lead a ceremony beginning at 8:30 a.m. remembering and honoring the thousands of lives lost in the terrorist attacks that took place Sept. 11, 2001.

Residents may gather outside Town Hall, 2121 Cross Timbers Road, to hear remarks from Flower Mound Fire Chief Paul Henley, Flower Mound Police Chief Andy Kancel and others. The ceremony ends with the ringing of the town bell and a playing of bagpipes.
