The city of Plano released a list of its facilities that will remain closed on Memorial Day, Monday, May 30. These facilities include:

  • Carpenter Park Recreation Center, 6701 Coit Road

  • Day Labor Center (closed May 28-30), 805 Ozark Drive

  • Environmental Education Center, 4116 W. Plano Parkway

  • Household Chemical Reuse Center (closed May 28-30), 4110 W. Plano Parkway

  • Interurban Railway Museum (closed May 29-30), 901 E. 15th St.

  • Oak Point Nature and Retreat Center, 5901 Los Rios Blvd.

  • Municipal Center, 1520 K Ave.

  • Plano Animal Shelter, 4028 W. Plano Parkway

  • Plano Senior Recreation Center (closed May 29-30), 401 W. 16th St.

  • Texas Pure Products Regional Composting Site and Custer Road Facility, 9901 Custer Road


All Plano libraries and book drops will remain closed May 29- 30 in observance of the Memorial Day holiday. City facilities that will remain open on Memorial Day include:

  • High Point Tennis Center (7:30 a.m.-9 p.m.), 421 W. Spring Creek Parkway

  • Pecan Hollow Golf Course (6 a.m.-9 p.m.), 4901 14th St.

  • Rowlinson Natatorium, 1712 Ave. P

  • Plano Aquatic Center, 2301 Westside Drive

  • Oak Point Recreation Center (1-6 p.m.), 6000 Jupiter Drive

  • Liberty Recreation Center (1-6 p.m.), 2601 Glencliff Drive

  • Tom Muehlenbeck Recreation Center (1-6 p.m.), 5801 W. Parker Road
