Park Boulevard-Independence Parkway repairs


The project to improve the intersection at Park Boulevard and Independence Parkway is nearing completion. Construction to add right-hand turn lanes southbound on Independence Parkway and eastbound on Park Boulevard are expected to be complete by
June 26, followed by sidewalk installations and utility relocations. All work on the intersection is expected to be complete by August.

Windhaven Parkway widening


Two widening projects along Windhaven Parkway are underway. Construction crews are creating a six-lane divided thoroughfare from Gentle Way to Parkwood Boulevard. Crews are also working on a four-lane widening project on Windhaven Parkway from Parkwood Boulevard to West Spring Creek Parkway. Lane closures will take place during nonpeak hours.

Cost: $3.4 million

Midway Road repairs


One northbound lane and one southbound lane along Midway Road from West Spring Creek Parkway to West Parker Road will be closed for concrete repairs. Work is expected to be completed by the end of July, weather permitting. Upon completion of this phase, construction crews will continue the repair work moving southward to Park Boulevard.
