Leander ISD will hold a public vaccine clinic Sept. 2 for anyone to receive their first or second COVID-19 vaccine.
Moderna, Pfizer and single-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccines will be available. Pfizer vaccines are available for people age 12 and older. Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines are for age 18 and older.
The clinic will be held from 4-8 p.m. at the LISD Technology Building located at 315 S. West Drive, Leander. The district will not require identification or insurance to receive a shot, according to the LISD announcement. COVID-19 vaccines are free.
This is the district's fifth public vaccine clinic, according to LISD.
