Grant Crawford

Grant joined Community Impact in October 2022 and is the editor for the Lake Travis - Westlake and Northwest Austin editions. He previously served as the editor for CI’s Round Rock and Pflugerville - Hutto editions. Prior to that, he covered news in Georgetown and Williamson County as a reporter. A Lamar University graduate, Grant began his career in 2017 as a reporter for the Tahlequah Daily Press in Oklahoma, where he later served as an editor for three years. In March 2022, he became a staff writer for the Santa Fe Reporter in New Mexico prior to moving to Austin. He considers himself a “wrangler of commas” and “connoisseur of caffeine.” He also once spent 20 minutes correcting a typo that never existed.
