Festivals, comedy shows, theater productions and more are scheduled for the Lake Travis - Westlake area. Mark your calendar for these 11 events.
G.O.A.T. Show
The Greatest Comedy Show of All Time will be held at the Civil Goat coffee shop. The event will feature top comics from around the Austin area. A one-item minimum purchase is required, and the shop offers beer, wine, coffee and snacks.
Hill Country Serenade
Local guitarist Scott Krippel will perform at the Lake Travis Community Library in Lakeway. Scott is a classically-trained musician that performs solo as Hill Country Serenade when he’s not performing with his full band, Buzz & the Blue Cats.
Christmas in July
The Lakeway Parks and Recreation Department will host a Christmas in July event at Lakeway Swim Center. Attendees can meet Santa in his summer attire, enjoy festive face painting, decorate cookies and watch a performance by a breakdancing elf.
“Singin’ in the Rain”
Zilker Theatre Productions will present the classic musical comedy “Singin’ in the Rain.” The show will include each scene, song and dance from the screenplay, including the title number which features an onstage rainstorm. The show will be held at the Beverly S. Sheffield Zilker Hillside Theater.
“The Addams Family” Musical
The Magnolia Musical Theatre and the city of Bee Cave Development Corporation will present “The Addams Family” Musical at Hill Country Galleria. Guests are invited to bring blankets and chairs to enjoy the performance out on the lawn behind Bee Cave City Hall. The shows will take place weekly, Wednesday-Saturday.
Movie at the Park
The Lakeway Parks and Recreation Department will have a screening of “Zootopia 2” at Lakeway City Park. The movie will be displayed on a large LED screen near the playscape, and guests can enjoy free popcorn and other giveaways. Food vendors will also be on site.
BRISKETFEST 2026
The festival combines live bands, brisket trucks, pop-up vendors, artists, tattoos and more at The Far Out Lounge. Jimmy Eat Brisket, a 2000s emo and pop-punk cover band, will perform along with a lineup of other bands.
End of Summer Luau
Northshore Marina will host luau to celebrate the end of summer. The island-themed event will include live music and quesadillas, and guests are encouraged to wear their best Hawaiian shirts, grass skirts and tropical prints. The event is BYOB.
Acro Yoga Jam
Flow Yoga Westgate will host a free acro yoga gathering, where attendees can learn new moves and meet other people. The event is meant for people of all skill levels, and no partner or experience is necessary.
Eat the Film: “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”
As part of Hotel Viata’s ongoing film series, the hotel will provide a dining experience featuring flavors inspired by scenes from “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.” The event will feature chocolate-inspired sweets and colorful confections for guests of all ages to enjoy as they watch the movie.
Cool Arts Show & Sale
Guests can browse a collection of original artwork from Lakeway-area artists, including paintings, jewelry, pottery and more. The event at the Lakeway Activity Center will also feature live music and a variety of children’s activities.
