The city of Sunset Valley will host a farewell party for longtime Public Works Director Katy Phillips on Jan. 2 from 4-6 p.m. at Sunset Valley City Hall, located at 3205 Jones Road, according to a notice by the city.

Phillips, who has served the city since 1998, submitted her resignation with the city in Nov. 11, and would be celebrating her 22nd year of service to the city in January.

The event will include cake and refreshments.
