Austin ISD school campuses will be closed through at least April 13 due to Austin and Travis County’s stay-at-home order issued March 24, according to a message to parents by Superintendent Paul Cruz. According to the district, classes are also canceled through April 3.

In the March 24 letter, Cruz said the district will continue to offer learning opportunities to students who are at home in the meantime. Assignments and learning activities can be found online and are being encouraged through the extended spring break but will not be used to determine a student’s grade, according to the message.

AISD's Learning At-Home webpage states that AISD teachers and staff will continue to manage instructional content, and additional resources will be added to the page over time.
