Austin ISD classes will be canceled for the remainder of the week, with the district announcing that all schools will be closed Feb. 19 due to ongoing cold temperatures, power outages and water concerns in the Austin area.

According to the district, three district schools are operating as warming centers from 9 a.m.-9 p.m.

• Lee Elementary School, 3308 Hampton Road, Austin
• Joslin Elementary School, 4500 Menchaca Road, Austin
• Murchison Middle School, 3700 N. Hills Drive, Austin

Two AISD schools are also serving as shelters for populations with medical needs, according to the district.

• Reilly Elementary School, 405 Denson Drive, Austin
• Mendez Middle School, 5106 Village Square Drive, Austin
