A Locker Room Haircuts will open this spring at the under construction South Congress Station shopping center, located at 8900 S. Congress Ave., Austin.

The sports-themed barber shop will specialize in men’s and children’s haircuts and beard trimmings. Customers also receive a complimentary beverage and shampoo treatment with each haircut.

Locker Room Haircuts is a Lubbock-based chain with more than 15 locations across Texas. The local franchise will be owned by South Austin residents Kyle and Danya Maxfield, who also operate a location in Temple. Kyle said he hopes to open the location by April 1. 325-998-6175. www.lockerroomatx.com
