The location in the Oaks at Slaughter shopping center is Torchy’s 100th location. The space at at 8601 S. Congress Ave., Ste. 250, will host a grand opening celebration Jan. 12. The restaurant will offer a green chile queso giveaway for the first Torchy’s fans to arrive, according to the release.
The Torchy’s mascot and CEO Mike Rypka, who founded the business in a food trailer, will attend the event as well, the release said.
