Bastrop Chamber of Commerce Banquet

Residents can enjoy a night of dancing at the annual banquet where attendees will participate in a silent auction, dinner and play a card game. Disco attire is encouraged but business wear is acceptable.

Author Event: Dr. Clementine Msengi

Sponsored by the Bastrop County African American Cultural Center & Freedom Colonies Museum and Friends of Bastrop Library, the author will speak about her memoir, “Spared.” The memoir tells her story in escaping genocide in Rwanda and finding a home in America.

‘Clue’


Texas Performing Arts Broadway in Austin will present “Clue,” the murder mystery comedy inspired by the Hasbro board game and adapted from the 1985 film at Bass Concert Hall.

Spicewood Community Library Gala

The Spicewood Community Library will host a fundraising gala at Spicewood Vineyards, featuring a raffle, silent auction and music by Spicewood’s Square Grooves. Wine and catering from Rafa’s Kitchen will be offered.

Austin International Half Marathon

This half marathon, formerly the 3M Half Marathon, will start in North Austin and run downhill near the Capitol.

Yoga on the Lawn

Area residents are invited to bring their mat and a friend to enjoy a yoga class for beginners, which will be held on the lawn next to the Hutto Public Library.

Siena Community Vendor Fair

A vendor fair will be held in the Siena neighborhood, where small businesses, artists and bakers will set up.

Rummage O Rama

The Texas Shoppers Market will host one of the area’s largest January rummage sales. Vendors will have new and used clothing, collectibles, decor and other items.

SMTX Sustainable Market Days

Local business Truly Pure Refillery will host this new, recurring sustainable market.
