Austin will host three annual film festivals—the Austin Film Festival, the Austin Polish Film Festival and the Austin Jewish Film Festival—starting Oct. 26 and ending Nov. 19. Check out the details below for more information on each.

Austin Film Festival and Writers Conference

Celebrating the 30th year of the festival, the Austin Film Festival and Writers Conference offers a range of over 150 films during the festival ranging from narrative features to documentaries, shorts and major studio movies.

In addition, more than 200 panelists will be present during the conference speaking on topics such as film, television, plays, podcasts, digital series and more.Austin Polish Film Festival

The Austin Polish Film Festival is now in its 18th year and gives Polish filmmakers a platform to debut their works, ranging from dramas to documentaries, animations and more.


Audience members will have the chance to participate in a live Q&A session Nov. 3 after the viewing of Kinga Debska's “Fire Festival” with the film's leading actors Kinga Preis and Tomasz Sapryk.

Austin Jewish Film Festival

The Austin Jewish Film Festival is in its 21st year and showcases Jewish filmmakers from around the globe in addition to offering parties and Q&A sessions with many of the filmmakers.

The event will include in-person sessions and a virtual round.
