The gist
According to an Instagram post, Swedish Hill will open at 415 Colorado St., Austin.
The bakery has a location in West Lake Hills and a smaller cafe called Little Swedish on West Sixth Street, a temporary space while a new development, Sixth & Blanco, is completed. According to previous reporting from Community Impact, a new full-service Swedish Hill will reopen in late 2026.
The bakery also announced last year that it will open on South First Street in the former Foxtrot space.
Swedish Hill is owned by McGuire Moorman Lambert Hospitality and offers coffee and tea, pastries, salads, soups and sandwiches.
