Bakery, deli and neighborhood market Swedish Hill will be closing its doors Jan. 14 at 1120 W. Sixth St., Austin, to make way for a new development, according to an Instagram post.
However, Swedish Hill will not be closing its doors permanently and will open a “Little” Swedish Hill at 1128 W. Sixth St., Austin, in the weeks following the closure, the post stated. The menu will feature an all-day menu, a coffee bar, pastries and sandwiches.
Little Swedish Hill will primarily be for to-go and pickup orders with limited outdoor seating.
The new development, dubbed Sixth & Blanco, will offer mixed-use amenities with residential and retail spaces, according to the development website.
