For a limited time only, Y Comida will be serving up creative south Texas small plates at the Ellis bar in downtown Austin.

The temporary restaurant is the brainchild of head chef and owner Nick Middleton, who operates a seasonal restaurant in Round Top in the months of January, March and October.

Middleton’s current place in the Fareground downtown food hall will serve dishes with a part-Mexican, part-Cajun flair through the end of 2024.

Hours of operation are Wednesday-Saturday from 3-8:30 p.m. and The Ellis will validate parking in the downtown garage for up to 90 minutes.
