Muzzy's Bagels has recently made a change in chefs, management and menu, staff confirmed. The East Austin eatery boasts a selection of new, chef-quality food.

The culinary creations begin with a mixture of just water, flour and salt, according to the company's website. Chefs then allow the ingredient to rest at least 48 hours.

Free from sugar, commercial yeast and preservatives, the company claims to provide one of the healthiest bagels on the market. The long fermentation process also reduces the bagel’s glycemic index, which makes it more accessible for individuals with blood sugar concerns.
