While the Austin metro has no shortage of dining options, here are some recent openings to explore. This list is not comprehensive.

Leander

The Boozy Barista

A new craft cocktail bar opened inside Perky Beans Coffee in Leander. The Boozy Barista serves a variety of cocktails, beers and wine alongside charcuterie boards and small bites. Some of the bar's most popular drinks include the blood orange margarita, strawberry and blueberry mules, and espresso bean-infused bourbon, owner Angie Diaz said.

While the coffee shop and cafe have served as a gathering spot for community members during the day, the business wanted to provide residents with another option for happy hour, Diaz said.

Round Rock

Ramen Tatsu-Ya

A familiar flavor of Austin has made its way into Round Rock with the expansion of Ramen Tatsu-Ya, a collaboration between chefs Tatsu Aikawa and Takuya Matsumoto.

At the Round Rock location, much of the menu is the same, with some specialty drinks offered only at this location. These are a lemongrass cucumber lemonade and strawberry lemongrass lemonade, along with a sake Guavarito and zero proof slushie called the Lemon Chill, per Brand Manager Tony Perez.
