Nomade Cocina and Raw Bar is now serving a gluten-free menu featuring flavors from several global cuisines after opening its doors on South First Street earlier this fall.

The new kitchen and bar was launched by Adam Weisberg and Jay Huang, the duo behind South Austin's Lucky Robot Japanese restaurant. Nomade has space for more than 100 guests between its open-air cantina, outdoor garden, and an intimate cantina and raw bar.

Nomade's dishes are inspired by the varied foods of Central America, Africa, Europe and the Middle East. Plates include Mayan sikil pak and Mexican Gulf seafood, Lebanese coconut flatbreads, African mogo mogo, yellowtail sashimi, and braised chili-glazed short rib.

A house cocktail menu includes mezcal-, gin- and tequila-based beverages. Beer, wine and other liquors are also served.

Nomade offers a drop-in happy hour weekdays from 4:30-6 p.m. Reservations are recommended for dinner.
