Texas Longhorns wide receiver Deandre Moore, along with his mother, Taleea Moore, opened Jive Turkey on Aug. 27.

The turkey-based food truck is parked in South Austin on East Riverside Drive.

The menu consists of three options: the Jive Burger; the Jive Turkey Bowl—a cornbread bowl with slow-roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, and macaroni and cheese topped with gravy and a side of cranberry sauce; and the OG Jive, a deep-fried turkey taco. All three items are $15 each.

“Growing up, I realized what a privilege it was to be able to gather around the table with my family and enjoy my mom’s warm, home-cooked meals,” Deandre Moore said in a news release. “As a newer member of the Austin community, I’m grateful to bring those same staples to Austin’s talented food truck scene, while hopefully bringing people together in the process.”
