A new curated vintage boutique opened on West Sixth Street in April.

Mabel Divine Vintage is now open next to Texas Ceiling Fans at 1207 W. Sixth St., Austin. The boutique’s owner, Allie Andrews, said she wanted to carry on her family’s legacy of owning local businesses. Her dad opened Texas Ceiling Fans in 1977.

Mabel Divine is “a love letter to the past, a celebration of expressive dressing, soulful interiors, and the beauty of objects with history,” Andrews wrote in a statement to Community Impact.

What they offer


The boutique sells antique clothing, shoes, home decor, jewelry, perfume, candles, glasses, handbags and cards. The “Victorian-chic” selection of apparel ranges from 1930s slip dresses to 1980s punk-era Betsey Johnson pieces to modern designer items.

Andrews also plans to host events in the space, such as wine and painting parties and boot repair workshops.

About the owner

Born and raised in the Clarksville neighborhood, Andrews has an industrial design and art background and has worked at other Austin vintage shops, including Feathers and the now–closed Prisma.

Mabel Divine Vintage is named after her great-great-aunt Mabel, whose photo is displayed on an altar with more of Andrews’ women ancestors in the shop.
