Two-minute impact
Bouldin Creek Cafe opened on June 15, 2000. Owner Leslie Martin said she wanted there to be more quirky businesses in Austin. The vegan and vegetarian restaurant is decorated with eclectic artwork, stickers and plants.
Martin said that since she opened Bouldin Creek Cafe, she and her team have strived to keep it a business that puts people first.
“It's been a lot with the pandemic and the changes in Austin,” she said. “I feel like we did a good job of adapting but also staying true to the path that we wanted to stay on as far as keeping our values and our mission statement.”
Martin encourages people to support small businesses in Austin and realize how important they are to the community.
Bouldin Creek Cafe serves vegan and vegetarian scratch-made breakfast, salads, sandwiches and other entrees like the Massaman Jackfruit Curry and South Austin Stir Fry.
