Bouldin Creek Cafe
The woman-owned vegetarian and vegan restaurant will celebrate its 25th anniversary June 15. Owner Leslie Martin said she opened the restaurant in 2000 because she thought Austin needed more quirky, neighborhood businesses. Bouldin Creek Cafe scratch-made breakfast, salads, sandwiches and other entrees like the Massaman Jackfruit Curry and South Austin Stir Fry.

Thom’s Market
Owner Bill Thomas is retiring, and a new retailer will be taking over the flagship Barton Springs Road location as well as the East Riverside and Burnet Road storefronts. The store opened in 2007 and was known for its collection of locally sourced foods and products.
