South Congress Avenue’s newest social entertainment destination is now open in the St. Elmo neighborhood.

Midwest-based company Pins Mechanical Co. opened its newest venue, Pins Austin, on April 17. The business is located in what was previously planned to be St. Elmo Public Market.

According to a news release, the 43,000-square-foot space features a variety of games and interactive activities, including:
  • 20 duckpin bowling lanes
  • 25+ pinball machines
  • 29+ classic arcade games
  • Foosball
  • Ping pong
  • Giant Lite Brite, Jenga and Connect Four
Pins Austin also has three bars serving craft cocktails, local and regional draft beers, THC-infused seltzers and nonalcoholic options. Daily drink specials and seasonal cocktail menus will be offered.

The venue is dog friendly inside and outside, with outdoor spaces featuring fire pits and lounge seating, and welcomes all ages until 9 p.m., when it becomes 21+.

What else?

Guests can bring their own food or order meal delivery to the venue, which will have rotating food trucks available. According to the release, Jewboy Sliders will open a trailer on site in early May.


Pins Austin also features a new mezzanine with duckpin bowling that is available for private events.
