The Mexican charcoal-grilled chicken chain El Pollo Rico opened its newest Austin location in late October.

El Pollo Rico's East Austin restaurant off Airport Boulevard is now serving several chicken and carne asada plates in addition to burritos, taquitos and quesadillas. Sides such as beans and plantains, desserts including flan and churros, and aguas frescas are also offered at the walk-up and drive-thru location.
