An inclusive barbershop that aims to be welcoming to LGBT people will open its second location in Austin in November.

Owned by local Tim Durant, Scruff's Barbershop will begin offering services to South Austin clients in the 1,300-square-foot space on South First Street, specializing in haircuts, coloring and chemical treatments.

"We’re not just celebrating the growth of Scruff's, but the growth within our community," Durant said in a news release. "We’re excited to be able to grow and expand to a second location, and more importantly be able to service more of our Austin community.”

Durant said the original Austin location will remain open at 1601 E. Fifth St., Austin.
