The city of Kyle is set to begin more roadwork March 28 on streets near downtown that will cause intermittent road closures. Crews will conduct full-depth repairs on Rodriguez, Barerra, Selvera, Tenorio, Moreno and Deleon streets. Additional curb replacement work will be conducted on Barerra, Selvera and Deleon.

This is the order in which the road work will take place:
  • Deleon Street
  • Moreno Street
  • Tenorio Street
  • Selvera Street
  • Barerra Street
  • Rodriguez Street
The estimated cost for this project is $69,500 funded by the city's street construction division budget.

Construction will take place from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Thursday for approximately eight to 10 weeks, weather permitting.

Residents are asked to park in their driveways, not on the street. Drivers should be on the lookout for detours.
