Both fatalities reported by the county were residents of Kyle, a man in his 50s and a woman in her 60s.
The Hays County Local Health Department also reported 42 new cases of the coronavirus and 55 additional recoveries. Of the 4,133 confirmed cases, 2,977 are considered active.
