Two businesses that create custom items and apparel in-house have expanded their Buda-based operations and moved into a new space in Kyle's Dacy Business Park.
Triple Elevation Custom Creations is owned and operated by Rachel Rodriguez, who is also the mom in the family business.
“We've just taken our personal experiences and incorporated all that into our business,” Rachel Rodriguez said.

Modern Era Threads is led by her children: Jaszmine, Tabitha and TJ Rodriguez. Jaszmine Rodriguez oversees the customer communications and social media, while Tabitha Rodriguez is the embroiderer, and TJ is the digitizer for the business.
“Our graduation stoles are really big, but usually our hats are probably our top sellers, but we also get a lot of people in from different businesses that want customized items to showcase their business, so although we make premade stuff, I think our custom stuff is what really sells to a lot of other businesses in the surrounding areas,” Jaszmine Rodriguez said.

Jaszmine Rodriguez said a core part of their business is providing strong communication and customer service, and a goal is to build relationships with customers so they come back for more items in the future.
“We want to make sure from the beginning to the end of [making] the product that you're getting exactly what you asked for,” Jaszmine Rodriguez said.
A small shop is also located in front of the business, where customers can purchase locally made, customized items.
“We had a lot of people coming from San Marcus and Austin, and so this was like a good middle point, and it was a good location to expand our business and get bigger, and also have people that can drop off and pick up and shop in store,” Jaszmine Rodriguez said.
