The Cozy Corner—a coworking and community events space—opened its doors for its first event on July 6.

Located at 200 S. Main St., in downtown Buda, The Cozy Corner is owned by locals Kristen Cearbaugh and Melissa Yoder.

The gist

The space will be available for community members to rent for different classes, workshops and retreats. Cearbaugh said they also plan on being involved in other community events that are already happening in town, such as Buda's Sip N Stroll.

The Cozy Corner will also be used as a kid-friendly, members only coworking space throughout the week. Individuals who are interested in becoming members of the coworking space will be expected to pay a one-time fee and fill out an application. There will also be day passes available.

"Right now we're focusing on members only so we can keep it organized and community-based," Yoder said.

Yoder also noted that one of their long-term goals is to offer a parents night out.

"We're moms and so parent-focused support is important to us," she said.
