Central Texas's population continues to grow in 2023, and with it 12 new medical offices have opened in San Marcos, Buda and Kyle this year.

According to previous reporting by Community Impact, the growth stems from economic development along the I-35 corridor, and the San Marcos, Buda and Kyle areas are not immune to such growth.

The details

Four health-related businesses opened in San Marcos, while one opened in Buda.

The city of Kyle had several health and medical facilities open, including Greater Austin Podiatry Associations, The Joint Chiropractic, Kids Tooth Team, Howerton Eye Clinic, Carbon Health and Clinica Familiar.


Quote of note

Clinic Manager Jountiá Boiles said Carbon Health’s mission is to provide good health care and remove barriers for access.

“[We're] definitely happy to be in the community and support the community for all of their urgent care needs,” Boiles said.
