Jan. 7-8: Listen to live music at a Texas craft and wine bar

Downtown Pflugerville wine bar Three Legged Goat is focused purely on Texas products, and live musicians perform each weekend night. Austin-based guitarist and singer Wm. Barrett Simms Music plays this Friday night, and artist Craig Marshall will take the stage Saturday night.

Jan. 8: Mix Down Fridays at The Alcove Cantina


Every Friday night in downtown Round Rock, The Alcove Cantina throws a Mix Down Fridays party in the lounge with DJ MeeCo mixing beats. This 21+ event includes drink specials, music ranging from old school to hip-hop, Mexican-inspired cuisine and no cover.

Jan. 8: Recycle your Christmas tree locally and get free mulch

The city of Round Rock is hosting a Christmas tree recycling event. Remove all decorations from your tree and bring it to the Round Rock Brush Recycling Center to receive fine, usable mulch free of charge for city residents. Volunteers will be available to help unload trees during the event.
