Swallow Wines is expected to open their doors in Round Rock by the end of the month, with a ribbon cutting ceremony planned with the Round Rock Chamber of Commerce Nov. 15.

As renovations to the business wraps up, owners Matt and Gabe Ellis anticipate a soft opening by the end of October. Additionally, they have plans to host pop-up wine tasting events at various Round Rock parks throughout the month, in collaboration with the Round Rock Parks and Recreation department.

The winery and wine-tasting venue located will provide a cozy environment to experience and learn while providing a unique product, Matt said.

“Everything that you’re going to find here, you’re not going to find anywhere else,” Ellis said.

The venue also includes a private space intended for small dinner parties and wine-tasting events. Meanwhile, the back of the building will include a spacious patio and access to food trucks. The business has partnered with various food vendors, including Calderon Curations, Siete Family Foods and Madhu Chocolate. Coffee will also be available for purchase, either by bag or cup.
