The city of Pflugerville will begin a paving the roadway on Kelly Lane as part of the city’s ongoing transportation project June 18.

The gist

While no lane closures or detours are expected along Kelly Lane, the city is encouraging drives to remain vigilant to any shifting traffic patterns June 18-20, according to a news release. The city will move barriers to support the ongoing work, and minor flagging operations may occur for safety purposes.

The work is part of the city’s Kelly Lane Phase 2 project to wide the road from a two-lane roadway to a divided four-lane section, from Falcon Pointe Drive to east of Moorlynch Avenue. Phase 2 construction is expected to be completed this year. This phase of the project is funded through 2018 voter-approved general obligation bonds.
