Drivers can expect lane closures and traffic delays during the 17th annual Lake Pflugerville Triathlon on June 23.

What’s happening

Athletes will take part in the June 23 triathlon that includes a 500-meter swim in Lake Pflugerville, 13.2 mile bike ride and 3-mile run around the lake.

The bike route for the triathlon, where drivers can expect lane closures from 7-11 a.m., include Weiss Lane, Hodde Lane, Rowe Lane, CR 139, CR 198, Melber Lane, CR 129, Engelmann Lane, Cele Road, Cameron Road and Jesse Bohls Drive.

Lake Pflugerville, located at 18216 Weiss Lane, will also remain closed to the public during the event.
