The city of Hutto will hold an open house on April 13 for a series of planned road and drainage improvements to CR 137.

The open house will take place from 5-6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria of Farley Middle School, located at 303 CR 137, Hutto.

Design work on the project began in late 2022 and was 30% complete as of a March 2 update.

The project's proposed scope includes repaving, traffic signal upgrades and new turn lanes. Construction is expected to begin in early 2024 and conclude in late 2025.

Attendees at the open house will have the opportunity to learn more about the project and provide input.

"We're looking for the public to come out and take a look at some of the proposed options and share their feedback," City Manager James Earp said.
