Current situation
While the National Weather Service forecast for Pflugerville shows chances of continued thunderstorms through July 9, the city has shifted to debris cleanup and trail maintenance.
For those who were left with storm debris, the city offers several ways for residents to dispose of tree limbs. Up to 2 cubic yards of limbs can be brought to the Pflugerville Recycle Center, which operates 8 a.m.-5 p.m., on Fridays, Saturdays and Mondays. Residents are asked to bring a utility bill and proof of residence.
Residents may also leave up to six bundles of limbs, up to 4 feet in length, at their curb for free pickup on their regularly-scheduled trash day.
Nonresidents can also drop off brush at the Pflugerville Recycle Center for a fee—$15 for up to 2 cubic yards, $20 for 2-4 cubic yards and $40 for 4 cubic yards.
Waste Connections will also service unbundled tree limbs up to 4 cubic yards that weigh less than 40 pounds, and are no longer than 4 feet in length. The flat feet for a scheduled pickup is $35. Residents can schedule a pickup here.
