Several water projects are were approved by Pflugerville City Council at its Aug. 13 meeting, including water line extensions, wastewater line rehabilitation and design work.

The details

City Council approved a $53,885.82 credit agreement with H-E-B, LP to convert an 8-inch water line to a 12-inch water line along 980 feet of Colorado Sand Blvd. A similar credit agreement with Atlantic Urbana Cameroon, LLC for $166,948.82 will also expand an 8-inch waterline to a 12-inch waterline along about 1,446 feet along Cameron Road.

Both credit payments will cover water impact fees for the projects. These fees are one-time charges to help cover costs of extending the waterlines in response to increased demand.

What else

Pflugerville will also work with Quiddity Engineering, LLC on the rehabilitation of wastewater lines project. The firm’s engineering services will cost $174,345.
