The county is seeking proposals from local cities on projects to be included in a possible road and park bond election this November.
At its May 4 meeting, Hutto City Council will consider proposing four projects for the bond with a total request of $70.57 million in county funds.
The proposed projects and their requested funding are:
- $40.18 million for a project constructing an overpass on CR 132 over Hwy. 79;
- $19.07 million for a project repaving and expanding CR 137;
- $10.8 million for a project realigning CR 132; and
- $525,000 for a project adding 0.25 miles of concrete trail to the Brushy Creek trail system.
