Sept. 15: 12th annual Family Campout

The city of Round Rock’s Parks and Recreation Department will host a family campout at Old Settlers Park. Participants can play games, eat dinner, have s’mores, watch a movie and sleep under the stars.Sept. 16: ‘Dazed & Confused’ anniversary celebration

Round Rock Express will host a celebration of the 30th anniversary of the film “Dazed and Confused.” Members of the cast will take part in a panel discussion before the game, and the first 1,500 fans will receive “Dazed and Confused” bobbleheads.Sept. 16: 53rd annual Fiesta Amistad

The Pflugerville Public Library will host its annual LibraryCon, bringing together authors and artists to celebrate the world of comics, anime, cosplay and gaming. The event includes a cosplay contest.Sept. 24: Kalahari Food and (Not Just) Wine Festival

Kalahari Resorts and Conventions is hosting the second annual event showcasing the resort’s dining paired with local wine and other beverage brands. It includes cooking demonstrations and live entertainment.Oct. 1: Harvest Fest at Heritage House

The Heritage House Partners will host Harvest Fest, featuring family photo ops, games, face painting, food and tours of the museum. The event also includes a mobile dairy classroom with demonstrations by the Southwest-Southland Dairy Farmers.Oct. 6: Round Rock Arts Festival and Chalk Walk

The city’s largest festival attracts thousands of visitors in addition to artists, vendors and performers. The event includes food and drinks, a children’s area, art displays, musical performances, theatrical performances and more.
