Pflugerville ISD will soon begin the search for a new superintendent after Superintendent Doug Killian was selected as the lone finalist in Cy-Fair ISD's superintendent search.

Killian was named as the lone finalist in Cy-Fair ISD's search for a new superintendent. Pending a mandatory 21-day waiting period and a vote on his hiring by the school board, he said he expects to join the district sometime in early 2024 in a letter shared with district staff Nov. 13.
Hutto ISD shares options for middle school boundary leveling
Hutto ISD officials released four potential scenarios for leveled boundaries Oct. 19 in anticipation of the opening of a new middle school.

District staff are working with community members and district demographers to adjust boundaries and rebalance zoning for its campuses in anticipation of a new campus opening in 2024. On Oct. 19, four potential options were shared with the Hutto community for feedback. Trustees will consider a final rezoning scenario in January.
