The details
Urbana will be located off Limmer Loop and CR 108. The development will consist of single family detached and attached units, with private back yards inside a gated neighborhood, according to developer plans.
The design concept also includes community amenities like a clubhouse, swimming pool, dog park and neighborhood trails.
The update
Based on the updated service agreement, the estimated amount of water typically used by one home, or the living unit equivalent, increased from 182 to 196 gallons of water per day. This change is a result of minor adjustments to the concept plan.
Some context
Council first approved the residential development in September 2024, when the land was in Hutto's extraterritorial jurisdiction. The original development agreement showed 240 units for lease.
Last November, Hutto annexed 20 acres for the development, as well as entered a municipal services agreement to provide emergency services and street maintenance in the neighborhood. Jonah Special Utility District will provide water services.
