The overview
The court will give residents a place to play basketball, soccer and other sports at the park, located at 1124 Town Center Drive, Pflugerville.
At a cost of $343,005, the court is being funded by a park development fees derived from an adjacent development.
Pflugerville City Council also approved a memorandum of understanding with 4ATX Foundation to received an on-court mural installation at no cost to the city. 4ATX is the nonprofit arm of Austin FC that helps provide equipment, scholarships and other charitable donations to the region to help create safe spaces for families to remain active.
Construction on the court is expected to be completed by mid-August.
