Metal fabrication company EVS Metal broke ground on a 175,000-square-foot facility in Pflugerville’s One Thirty Business Park on Feb. 28.

The overview

The company will relocate from its original location on South Heatherwilde Boulevard to a lot near the intersection of SH 130 and Pecan Street, providing better access to transportation routes and improving EVS Metal’s distribution operations.

According to the Pflugerville Community Development Corporation's new release, the 14.5 acres where the facility will go was previously considered undevelopable, until the PCDC extended the roadway and utilities leading up to the business park.

“The subdivision of this property provided the just-in-time delivery to retain this longtime partner in our community and gave EVS Metal an excellent strategic location for their growing business,” PCDC Executive Director Amy Madison said.

Moving forward

EVS Metal is expected to open in its new facility in 2025. The new manufacturing plant is expected to support the expanding semiconductor industry and create over 80 jobs.
