Assistant City Manager Matt Wojnowski will serve as Hutto's acting city manager for the next several weeks while city officials finalize the appointment of an interim city manager.

Once appointed, the interim city manager is expected to serve for up to six months while officials search for a new permanent city manager, according to a city press release.

Wojnowski joined Hutto as assistant city manager in August after serving in several other cities across Texas, Oklahoma and Missouri.
