1. Crux Climbing Center


Crux Climbing Center in Pflugerville is now open to the public. The roughly 30,000-square-foot facility has designated climbing areas—including 55-foot climbing walls, a 90-degree lead climbing roof and a kilter board—as well as a fitness studio, kids area and remote work rooms.2. Infinite Hitting

Parents and athletes can now book free swing evaluations at Infinite Hitting, an indoor baseball and softball training clubhouse in Pflugerville. The facility offers baseball and softball hitting lessons from professionally trained coaches on a membership basis, as well as camps and batting cages for rental. 3. ClubCuts Barbershop


A new barbershop, ClubCuts Barbershop, is expected to open in the H-E-B Plus complex on Gattis School Road in Hutto. The shop will offer a variety of haircuts for adults and children, beard trims, hot-towel shaves and waxing. This is the company’s first Texas location, with the original located in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.4. Chase Bank

A new Chase Bank branch will open in Hutto in 2025. The new location will include three ATMS, two of which will have 24-hour access.

The site, located near H-E-B in Hutto, will be the third new branch for Chase to open in the North Austin area since the summer of 2023. This is the second Chase location in Hutto, with the other location at 506 Hwy. 79 in Hutto.

5. Frost Bank


A new Frost Bank is planned for Pflugerville, according to a company representative. The branch will occupy an estimated 3,643 square feet that is currently a shell space awaiting completion, a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Registration shows.

The Frost Financial Center project is planned to start in December of this year. Bill Day, senior vice president of Frost’s corporate communications, said the company expects the new location to open up sometime next year.

The newest location is a part of a broader expansion program to double Frost’s Austin-region locations, Day said. Other new branches include a South Austin, Bastrop and Georgetown center.Relocations

6. Union Church


Union Church will have its grand opening as an independent church Nov. 10, after transitioning out from a multi-site church over the summer. Pastor Jonathan Eng invites all to join for a Sunday gathering. The church is preparing to launch, but "during this interim season, we have continued to serve our community while getting ready,” Eng said.
