What will be your top priorities if elected?

Public safety is paramount for me, alongside affordability and economic development. Pflugerville must be a community where people feel safe, can afford to live, and have opportunities to thrive. Thoughtful growth and strong economic development are essential to creating our future while protecting what makes Pflugerville home.

What uniquely qualifies you for this position?

Service has defined my adult life, beginning as a Navy veteran and continuing through civic leadership and two terms on City Council. I have spent my life serving others, listening, leading, and solving problems. That experience has prepared me to navigate Pflugerville's growth while responsibly planning for its future.

What is the greatest challenge facing Pflugerville and how will you address it?

Affordability is one of Pflugerville's greatest challenges. Rising costs affect families at every level, we must pursue economic development that brings quality higher paying jobs, strengthens our tax base, while making responsible decisions about growth and city spending. Our residents should be able to afford the community they call home.

What’s something you want Pflugerville residents to know about you?

Service is a way of life for me. From volunteering in food pantries, serving veterans, or championing disability inclusion and opportunities for at-risk children, I believe in showing up. I am also working to establish a local LULAC chapter. As a father of children with profound needs, it's personal.

What will be your top priorities if elected?

Affordability and accountability. I was the only council member to vote to let Pflugerville voters vote on City Hall’s generational debt that residents—not politicians—will ultimately repay. I’ll continue demanding responsible spending, affordable taxes and utility costs, strong public safety, reliable water, better roads, quality parks, and economic development.

What uniquely qualifies you for this position?

6 years welcoming the best ideas from Pflugerville’s citizens while serving on City Council; working on the team at Texas’ highest court; serving on the Capital Area Council of Governments; living all over the country and across Texas has shown me how others govern poorly, and how to govern well.

What is the greatest challenge facing Pflugerville and how will you address it?

Affordability. Pflugerville is in an affordability crisis that my opponent voted for. My opponent voted to put a quarter-billion dollars worth of debt – a generational debt – on the citizens of Pflugerville, and voted to NOT allow the citizens to vote. I will vote to preserve financial responsibility, and preserve democracy.

What’s something you want Pflugerville residents to know about you?

I wasn’t born in Texas, but I got here as fast as I could. My wife Lisa and I have raised all of our kids in the same Pflugerville house since they were born. I’m a small town lawyer who stands up for homeowners and neighbors, common sense, and affordability.
