It started out operating in a garage, and then it made the rounds at several pop-up locations, including the Pflugerville flea market, before taking up residence within a small nook of a downtown wine bar called Three Legged Goat.

Now, after two years in business, Pflugerville's only book store will have a home of its own.

Owner Kelsey Black said July 24 that her store, The Book Burrow, will be located at 401 W. Pecan St., Ste. G, Pflugerville, and she is planning a late August grand opening.

Black said the news is welcome given that in mid-June she was told The Book Burrow would have to vacate Three Legged Goat so the shop could undergo renovations.

“I am excited to be able to finally have our own space, to create a safe third place for all.” Black said. “We are and always have been the little bookstore that could, and we have exceeded our own expectations."

The shop sells children’s, young adult and adult books in all genres, and Black said more specific announcements regarding The Book Burrow's grand opening event will be forthcoming on the store's Instagram and Facebook pages.
